Cheers, For Now!, the Dominic Lasorsa Excellence Fund, is a permanent endowment to support expenses related to graduate student research in the School of Journalism and Media at The University of Texas at Austin.Important Dates
2025 Cycle began with the fourth annual Cheers, For Now Call for Proposals, which were due March 20, 2025
Scholars were notified of decisions on April 14, 2025
Awards ceremony took place on April 18, 2025
Funds will be available from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026
Final reports are due May 1, 2026
